PerioMix is a gum and tooth powder formulated from natural ingredients like bicarb soda, pure salt, sodium ascorbate and fresh peppermint

BICARB SODA
Bicarb soda is a natural antibacterial agent. It reduces the growth and proliferation of destructive oral bacteria
and parasites that are responsible for gum infections like periodontal disease. Bicarb soda is also alkaline (having
a high pH), and works to create an environment in which bad bacteria struggles to grow. It neutralises plaque acids which
protects the enamel and can even aid in the re-mineralisation of enamel.
PURE SALT
Like bicarb soda, salt has antibacterial and antiseptic properties - killing bad
bacteria and parasites, and ultimately allowing gum tissue to heal. Salt is also a tightening agent - pulling
fluid out
of inflamed gums so that they can tighten around the base of the tooth - ultimately ensuring the gum gutters are smaller and more easily
cleaned, and preventing the loss of teeth.
SODIUM ASCORBATE
Sodium ascorbate - otherwise known as Vitamin C - is essential for the production of collagen,
which helps to build gum tissue. Vitamin C can be directly absorbed into the gums which speeds up healing and
repair.
PEPPERMINT OIL
Natural peppermint oil is used to freshen the breath and provide PerioMix with a natural, non-synthetic
flavouring. Unlike other toothpaste and oral care products, PerioMix does not contain any artificial sweeteners or
fluoride.
How to Use PerioMix in 4 Easy Ways!
PerioMix is designed to create a healthy oral environment - killing bad bacteria and providing the foundations for the gums and teeth. It
can be used in four different ways.
AS A GUM POWDER AFTER BRUSHING
PerioMix is designed to aid the healing and repair of damaged gum tissue. Place 1 - 2 teaspoons of PerioMix powder in the palm of your hand.
Lick your finger and dip it into the PerioMix. Pack the PerioMix powder generously around the gum lines and in between all the teeth. Always
start on your upper teeth to prevent excess saliva pooling. Spit out the excess, but leave the residue in your mouth for as long as
possible. Try to avoid eating or drinking for 60 minutes after completing this procedure.
AS A TOOTHPASTE
You can use PerioMix for daily brushing of your teeth and gums. Simply place a small amount of PerioMix into the palm of your hand. Tap a
wet toothbrush into the powder, then brush all around the teeth and gums. You may spit out the residue after you’ve finished, but don’t
rinse your mouth with water as you would normally. Instead, you want to leave the residue in your mouth for as long as possible (try to
avoid eating and drinking during the first hour).
AS A MOUTHWASH
Periomix can be used as a mouthwash after surgery, for mouth ulcers and any other oral traumas. Take 2 heaped teaspoons of Periomix powder
and place in 100ml of warm water. Hold in mouth for several minutes. Spit the water out when you are finished, but not too
vigorously as you want the PerioMix residue to remain in your mouth for as long as possible. Do not rinse with water after.
FOR SORE THROATS
PerioMix is also beneficial for sore throat relief. Take 2 heaped teaspoons of PerioMix powder and place in 100ml of warm water. Gargle,
rinse and spit out. This will aid in killing bad bacteria at the back of your throat.
PerioMix can be used as a toothpaste substitute for daily brushing of teeth and gums, however, for gum health, it is best used as outlined
above in conjunction with The Brushing Solution (which is a toothpaste substitute).
